Silver is a beautiful pony born in approximately 1990. Standing exactly 14hh, Silver came to the Red Gate to act as a companion to Shannon. He is here strictly to retire and enjoy his twilight years, although he does occasionally photo-bomb given the opportunity.  In the summer of 2020 Silver was diagnosed with the twin conditions of Cushings disease, which causes weight gain, and Laminitis, an inflammation in the feet often caused by overweight.  With the helpful intercession of Mississippi Mills Animal Hospital, both conditions are now under control and Silver is once again his peppery little self.  We really love this cool little man and we hope he is with us for years to come.
